Our policies

Delivery charges

We offer the first 5 miles free.

Every mile after that will be charged at 50p.

Deposits

We require a £20 deposit to save the date and secure the booking.

Please note no booking is secure without the deposit being paid.

We can not hold dates.

Balance can be paid any time or via payment plan.

For weddings, remaining balance will need to be paid a week before the wedding. We will not set up until outstanding balance has been paid.

Parties can be paid for on the day, upon arrival, before we set up.

If cancelled within 7 days, or less the deposit will not be refunded.

Damages

We do not charge damage deposits for our items.

But we do ask our customers to agree they will be liable to pay for any damages, if they may occur.

This will have to be agreed when booking, by continuing with the booking you are confirming you agree to this policy.

Payment plans

To help spread the cost we welcome flexible payment plans.

You can pay as little or as much as you wish, whenever you wish.

Balance can be paid on the day before set up.

Cancellations

If for any reason (including covid) you have to cancel your booking, we will happily move to a different date free of charge.

Or you will be given a full refund of any moneys paid, if notice of cancellation is made within 7 days of event.

Minimum spend

Please note: we have a minimum spend of £100

Set up

Once we have set up the items, they are not permitted to be moved. If items are still moved then Perfect Event will not be liable for any injury/damage caused. Pictures will be taken of every set up, if moved and damages occur you will be liable to pay for those damages.

Outside use

Some items are suitable for outside use. Weather permitting only.

If weather is windy items will need to be tied down or have weights, or both. This is for safety reasons.

Unless under suitable shelter with sides and roof, items are not to be left out over night.

Drinks/liquid

Please note our light up numbers and letters are not to be used as tables.

No drinks or liquid are permitted around the numbers/letters.

These are made from wood and are electric. So mixing liquid with the electric can be very dangerous.

Once wet the wood may swell. Resulting in ruined items.

Children

Please do not leave small children unattended around any item. Some items are very heavy and could fall over onto little ones, if knocked over.

Balloons

Helium balloons

Please keep all helium balloons out of heat/sun to avoid bursting.

Also please do not leave in the car over night, or near aircon. The cold will cause the balloons to shrink and sag.

Inhalation of helium

Please do not inhale the helium from the balloons. Although it gives you a funny voice, helium displaces oxygen in your lungs when inhaled. Which can cause suffocation and you wont even realise it. So please be careful and avoid inhaling the helium.

Balloon releases

We do provide this service.

You should only ever release latex balloons. Latex is biodegradable. Foil balloons should never be released as they are not biodegradable.

For a mass balloon release you will need permission from local council. We will need proof of this before we fulfil your order.
